Community

Captive Multi Media Inc. is fully committed to being a responsible company by regularly contributing to the well-being of the community.

To date, Captive Multi Media Inc. has contributed to campaigns by the Canadian Cancer Society and the Stollery Children's Hospital. As a supporter of the Foster Parent's Plan, the company also sponsors three children: one in Cambodia, one in Sudan and one in Burkina Faso. In November, 2006, volunteers also pitched in to take part in building a residential home to support Habitat for Humanity.

Employees are encouraged to volunteer and support a number of community service agencies, organizations, schools, and similar groups. As an incentive, regular full-time employees are encouraged to use up to one paid work day every two months to do volunteer work for an approved community service activity.

Captive Multi Media Inc. is also a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, and was a finalist in the 2006 Small Business Owner of the Year Awards in the 11-50 Employee category.
